"wanted to let you know we had a fantastic day today dancing to Alvin!!. I unvited around 30 friends who came from far and wide-from Rainbow Bay, Stokers Siding, Tweed Heads and Brisbane - as I had told them how good the music was. It was amazing dancing to the reggae beat with the sea breeze and overlooking the ocean at beautiful Cabarita Beach. If you closed you eyes you were in Jamaica! We all had the best time dancing to some of the Bob Marley tunes plus some of the bands originals. Looking forward to hearing their new Cd.
When are you back in Cabarita? We desperately need some goog music down this way!

Craig Stevenson-General Manager-Northshore and Park Ridge Taverns. Aug 10
"After a run of terrible musicians and bad music agents I cancelled all music at the Northshore Tavern in April 2010. Alvin and Jane convinced me to give a residency(every Friday night minus existing bookings) to The Jahbutu Band. Its the best thing I've ever done. The Jahbutu Band are professional musicians, value for money, entertaining and punctual. As promised they have created a following that can be seen on the bottom line $$$. I am now convinced that there is nothing wrong with having the same music week in week out. I am free to concentrate on other issues involved with the business.
I highly recommend Alvin Rostant and The Jahbutu Band and now fully understand the power of weekly resident bands so long as they are professional. I even had Alvin and The Jahbutu Band play at my 40th Birthday party- a great night, the family stills talk about it!"
"Ring me if your not convinced"...quote,unquote.

Student Workshop- Benjamin Gaske- Principal 07 4654 5120
The Caribbean Arts and Entertainment Company student workshop provided our students with the experience of a lifetime.
The performers interacted with the students in an engaging and entertaining way. Every student had the opportunity to explore the variety
of instruments and then were matched with one they showed ability with, The students were then taught a peice in an encouraging and
patient manner that they performed as a group to some very surprised and happy parents and community members.
This is the second time The Caribbean Arts and Entertainment Company has performed and conducted workshops at our school and each time
the students learn a great deal about music and culture.
I recommend the company to all schools.
